About us

STL Training Ltd have been providing legal clerks to solicitors for over 15 years and to over 200 firms both within and outside of London.

We have clerks to cover all aspects of law including:

Civil
Criminal
Immigration

The majority of our clerks are either LPC / BVC graduates or level 2 & 3 undergraduates and can be booked in advance
or at short notice, subject to availability.

We have taken a professional approach in training our clerks to a standard that will ensure your firm is represented in a
professional manner at court.

The Employment Agency

Successful completion of one of our courses will make you eligible to apply for registration with our Employment Agency.

The agency specialises in paralegal work and provides paid work on a both a full-time and part-time basis. The level and type of work largely depends on your availability; your qualifications; and the number and type of cases our clients require assistance with.

The advantage of joining up with the agency is that you will undertake regular paid work. It will enable you to develop relationships with other people working in the legal profession and improve your legal skills and career opportunities.

Corporate Dress Standards

The policy states that all staff should dress in a professional and business like manner, in keeping with the high standards of service that we expect to provide for our clients and the respect we have for each other. Staff have a responsibility to dress appropriately for the work they undertake on behalf of the solicitor that they are representing and to use common sense in applying this policy.

In applying the dress standards, due regard will be given to religious, cultural and health and safety needs of staff.
